Lyreco - core values at the heart of the selection process
The Lyreco Group has always put ‘customer satisfaction’ at the heart of its strategy and as a result, expects the same level of commitment from its suppliers.
In fact, Lyreco applies its fundamental, unifying values on a daily basis – high quality products, an impeccable level of service, error-free deliveries, innovative marketing programmes, etc.
These awards represent an unrivalled opportunity to recognise suppliers for their abilities and their involvement in the Group’s development and internationalisation.
"We’re fanatical about customer service and we expect our supply partners to provide the same quality of service to Lyreco,” commented John Watson, Group Marketing Director for Lyreco.
“SPIP assessment is one of the most concrete tools in our armoury that enables us to evaluate the performance of a supplier and to identify the key and relevant areas of improvement which we can work on together," he concluded.
Methodology
This year, 85 suppliers were evaluated on the basis of seven criteria, in two different categories – marketing and logistics. These evaluations, which were identical in every country, were ratified by a jury made up of members of the Group’s marketing team.
Marketing criteria:
- Innovation(s) in marketing programmes
- Investment(s) in marketing activities
- Number of marketing accreditations
- Quality of account management
Logistics criteria:
- Quality of supplier’s service (orders delivered complete and on time)
- Clear and detailed invoicing
- Order management which matches supply and demand.
This event reinforces the Group’s business vision and consolidates its 2011 strategy which is both ‘customer’ and ‘supplier’ focused, in order to make Lyreco the international benchmark for the office products sector.
